The new Bauhaus-WALSTEIN Tenor Saxophone Deluxe Model features the same excellent specifications and the same great sound as the original model, but with one chief difference. More information on the New "AI"

Bauhaus have rebuilt the action in the A.I. (action improved) series using a shoulderless point screw and redesigned pillar-rod mechanism. The screws are manufactured from hardened steel, and the housing mechanism is carefully engineered around them creating greater ergonomics, making for a smoother, more responsive action.

The cases have changed too - still black of stylish design, but with integral rucksack zip away straps, large, padded external pocket, fitted interior with space for accessories and handles with rubber overlay for grip and comfort. High impact padding ensures lightness and protection.

The Bauhaus-WALSTEIN Lacquer finish tenor saxophone is identical to the bronze version (above) but is slightly lighter due to the lesser density of the brass body material. Like the bronzse version, it has a very positive action, heavy gauge blue needle springs and the upgraded Italian leather pads.

Clear high register, good middle, powerful, rich bottom end. Comes complete with hard case with cordura covering and rucksac straps, mouthpiece, ligature, cap and sling. Each instrument has been thoroughly checked and played by a fully qualified technician/player.

Extremely well received by professional players, it incorporates a smooth action, quality materials and craftsmanship, a powerful timbre, and provides excellent intonation in all registers - the horn is responsive and stable. "Bags" of middle, and purity without being too bright, this is a contemporary sounding horn with a good "fat" sound.
