Bauhaus-WALSTEIN Tenor Saxophone, Key of Bb. Excellent student/intermediate instrument with body in bronze and robust, American brass lacquer keywork. Clear high register, good middle, powerful, rich and beefy bottom end. Blue steel needle springs, Italian leather pads, high F#, fine adjustment screws and a large, hand hammered bell. The construction of BW saxophones is largely by hand. All saxophones are thoroughly checked and play-tested prior to despatch. Comes complete with mouthpiece, ligature and cap and a practical, durable and attractive black canvas covered hard case with integral rucksack straps and large external pocket.

The new Bauhaus-WALSTEIN Tenor Saxophone Deluxe Model features the same specifications and sound as the original model, the body shape and body and keywork materials are the same. The difference is the in the mechanics/ergonomics of the keywork. Bauhaus have rebuilt the action in the A.I. (Action Improved) series using a shoulderless point screw and redesigned pillar-rod mechanism. The screws are manufactured from hardened steel, and the housing mechanism is carefully engineered around them creating greater ergonomics, making for a smoother, more responsive action. The case and other accessories are as for the ts-p model above.

Blue steel needle springs, top of the range, black kangaroo pads with white porcelain resonators and real mother of pearl touch pieces. Outfit comes with good quality 4C mouthpiece, cap and ligature, sling and stylish shaped case.

Extremely well received by professional players, it incorporates a smooth action, quality materials and craftsmanship, a powerful timbre, and provides excellent intonation in all registers - the horn is responsive and stable. "Bags" of middle, and purity without being too bright, this is a contemporary sounding horn with a good "fat" sound.
