The Bauhaus A-M2L forms part of the Bauhaus Professional range from Taiwan. Deep Gold Lacquer Body and Keywork compliment the incredibly lush set of features found in its silver bodied cousin, the A-M2S above. Specifications include the rare and responsive black kangaroo pads with white porcelain resonators which help provide its positive and smooth action without any stickiness. They are also hard-wearing and exceptionally attractive, for a saxophone pad. The touch-pieces are subtle and beautiful real mother of pearl. Aside from the body material, the chief differences between the silver and lacquer models are the bell: the A-M2L has a standard rather than a large bell and the low C# does not have double key arms. It is reliable and has taken a number of players through their grade 8. It can play a little sharp in the upper register but to upgrade from here you really need to be looking at a semi professional instrument and paying at least twice as much
