WALSTEIN ALTO SAXOPHONE - PHOSPHOR BRONZE BODY
 | The Walstein Alto Saxophone with Phosphor Bronze body is a professional outfit at an amazing price. The beautiful body in phosphor bronze is heavier than the normal brass bodied instruments - (Phosphor bronze is an alloy of copper, tin and phosphorus - a deoxidizing agent during melting - creating a tough, strong and fine grained metal). Comes complete with mouthpiece, ligature and cap and black fabric ruck sack style case. Fully set up. High quality instrument. The saxophone body has ribbed construction: the keywork is mounted on straps (or ribs) attached to the body - this helps give stability and strength to the saxophone. The needle springs are blued steel - a high tensile strength, which is known to be better for consistent key action. The saxophone is well finished, solder points are good, pillars well situated and seated. The bell is detachable. The high F# rods are thicker than average again aiding stability. Many tests for key strength and integrity playing, longevity and generally "how it blows" have been conducted by professionals.
