Yamaha YSL-648 Bb/F Trombone, Gold Brass Bell, Lacquer Finish

Second hand Yamaha Trombone - The YSL-648 is a professional model. It was the fore-runner of the 682G - it has a 13.89 mm bore (.55") and 214.44mm one piece hand hammered bell (8.5"). It has a large shank, the finish is gold epoxy lacquer, the inner slide is chrome-plated drawn nickel silver and the outer is drawn, one piece brass. The rotor is hand lapped with mechanical linkage. This model is approximately 25 years old. It is in good playing condition and has been serviced. The lacquer is scarred in places on the slide, and there is a small ding in the bell. The outer slide is also scarred in places and there is some pitting in the nickel-silver on the slide-lock area and mouthpiece receiver. The trombone comes with original case and Yamaha 48 mouthpiece.
