Slinfold Concert Band

The band was originally formed in 1978 by John Reed and consisted of just five players, all performing on brass instruments. The Slinfold Concert Band always welcomes new members. If you play Wind, Brass or Percussion instruments, then why not come along and join the fun? Based near Horsham on the Sussex/ Surrey border, Slinfold Concert Band rehearses at Slinfold Village Hall on Tuesdays 7.30pm - 9.30pm. The Band undertakes a variety of engagements throughout the South East of England, which range from local bandstand performances to indoor concerts, and from weddings to company functions. Portsmouth Music Service

The Portsmouth Music Service was set up in January 2002. They are currently building an expert team to help raise the standards of music education and teaching in Portsmouth. Their activities include: visiting instrumental teachers in schools, offering quality tuition, a wide variety of instrumental and choral groups, in school workshops, and provision of high quality instruments and recources.
