The Jupiter 515-ES flute comes with both straight and curved head joints for versatility and ease of playing for students with shorter arms who can then graduate to the straight head joint as necessary. The flute has a solid riser and hand finished embouchure hole. Silver-plated nickel silver body, keys and headjoint with ribbed construction. Power forged plateau keys with rolled tone holes, stainless steel springs, tapered pivot screws, hand-seated double skin yellow pads. This is a lot shorter than its mainstream C concert flute. Designed for the yourger player. The instrument is in the key of D, it has a simpler key system than the majority of C student flutes and is considerably shorter allowing young players better handling and ease to reach the notes.
