We pride ourselves on the efficiency and speed of the service we provide. ("Thanks for your prompt service - recieved order next day" and "Truly appreciate your promptness") - we get a lot of emails like this! Wherever possible we will despatch goods for next day delivery from the day ordered. There are unavoidable exceptions to this, but we will always keep you informed as to the status of your order. Exceptions include out of stock goods (see below), Sundays and Bank Holidays. 90% OF OUR GOODS ARE DESPATCHED FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY.

All stock items (those items in stock at the time the order is made) are despatched the same day (if before 1500 hours, not including Friday and Saturday), for next day delivery. All large stock items are despatched same day if ordered before 1300 hours. We will email you at the time we despatch. If the item is not in stock, and there is likely to be a delay beyond two days, we will email you. You have the option to cancel your order at any time (see TERMS & CONDITIONS). Payment is not taken until the point of despatch.

We use weight to calculate our shipping costs, you do not see these charges before you order, but they can be viewed along with the goods you have chosen in the checkout basket BEFORE you commit yourself to the purchase. Please note you only commit yourself to the purchase when you have entered your credit card details. Postage and packing charges are very reasonable and start from £2.00 for first class post. Reeds are sent 1st class POST FREE. All other items are sent first class as standard, with options for Recorded (signed for) and Special Delivery (Insured up to £500). Orders weighing over 2kg are sent via UPS, this is an overnight delivery service, but does not operate on Saturdays:- items despatched on a Friday will not arrive until the following Monday. We use UPS quantum View, so you will automatically get an email telling of despatch date, estimated delivery date, and a tracking number.

The Special Delivery service means goods sent between Monday & Thursday will arrive the next day before 1pm. Items sent on a Friday may arrive on the Saturday, but are more likely to arrive the following Monday. This service is guaranteed, and insured up to £500. This option cannot be used for items over 2kg, or larger than 61x46x46cm.

As a general rule UPS items will be:

1. Music stands;
2. Cases and gigbags;
3. Stands for larger instruments such as tuba, euphonium, baritone horn;
4. Most instruments with the exception of flutes and most clarinets.
