Bauhaus-Walstein 505 B flat/C Trombone - Brass Lacquer Body-Rose Brass Bell
This is essentially a tenor trombone, but a slightly more compact one which allows beginning students to play certain notes without having to fully extend the slide - a boon for the shorter armed. The slide positions are identical to those of a normal Bb trombone, so nothing additional need be learnt there. However, as well as being smaller the Bb/C has a rotor valve, called variously a "whole-tone" or "ascending rotor" valve which enables the use of alternate slide positioning in order to play notes that would otherwise require full extension of the slide. Supplied with standard accessory kit and extras worth over £75.00 the case is wood shell black cordura with fitted plush black interior.
