In 1936, the son of the wood-wind instrument maker, Friedrich Gustav Uebel (1855-1936), established his own workshop in Markneukirchen, Germany. After the death of his old master, Oskar Oehler, he carried on the tradition of manufacturing state-of the art clarinets under the brand of F. Arthur Uebel. The individual tone, response and ergonomics of the F. Arthur Uebel model 888 make it ideal for the training of students at all levels.
