More than 160 years ago, Christian August Seydel established a harmonica factory in Klingenthal, Germany.
C. A. Seydel Söhne is the oldest harmonica factory in the world in continuous operation. Even more remarkable, all their instruments are still hand made today in Klingenthal.
They are committed to continuing this long tradition of craftsmanship and ensure that the finished product is man-ufactured to the highest quality.
This is proven by the easy response, resonant tone and robustness of their harmonicas. The notable and much loved sound is achieved through precise fine-tuning and the use of specially selected materials. SEYDEL harmonicas are produced in all standard keys and also in many special tunings.
SEYDEL is the only harmonica manufacturer to offer instruments with stainless steel reeds, first used in the Blues 1847, which were received with great interest amongst professional players worldwide.
